Happy 2014, Everyone! I know I’ve been slack with posting lately. I can make all the excuses, but it basically boils down to lack of creative ambition. I haven’t even taken many photos this past month. I just don’t feel like doing much of anything, especially if it involves being creative.
I’m sure part of this is due to the return of my awful morning sickness and the lack of sunlight. Winter is always a hard time for me. Add to that the fact that my hormones are all crazy, and it’s no wonder that I’m not feeling like myself.
I’m going to make an effort to stop reading 3 hours a night and make some posts instead! I can no longer hide behind traveling and holiday festivities. I have to push forward or get lost in the depressive fog.
So, yeah. December was a bit of an exciting month. I’m not just talking about Christmas, either. We ended up buying a new (to us) car. It’s a 2012 Toyota Corolla with 5100 miles. I’m pretty excited. Momo the Lumina was a good car. We put him through a lot, and he stood up to it well. He was at the end of his life, though. There was no way he was going to pass his inspection in February. Plus, a new car is safer for the baby. So… technically, it’s a baby purchase. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.
While I have barely used any of my real cameras, point and shoots or NEX, I have been using my cellular device camera a lot. I had to narrow this month’s photos down a lot to make this post reasonable.
How many photos is considered reasonable for a post, anyway? For these once a month phone pic posts, I like to keep it under 50. I struggled with that goal this month. Oops.
I’ll stop typing review my December with photos now…
My mantle, all decorated for Christmas.
I loved my ball-shaped tree this year.
Good morning ❤

I found this Tinkerbell winter set, and Charlie had to have it. She loves Tinkerbell.
Hey, we actually got some snow last month!
One morning, my truck’s doors were frozen shut. I used water to get them open, but it immediately froze to the window. That’s what the ice in this photo is.
I did a bit of baking last month.
My husband looks adorable in a headband.
She’s going to make a great big sister. Well, they both are 😉
Apparently the bag is a lot more comfortable than the floor.
They’re always watching.
He wanted to help with my project.
“Thanks for making me a bed, mom.”
There were a few beautiful days in there somewhere.
I finally finished Bindi’s blanket.
These two are the reason I cannot have nice things.
Um, how cool is this onsie? Thank, Miranda!
Slot machines have weird names.
Me, after Daniel’s company’s holiday party. I was tired!
Apparently my socks make a nice pillow.
How gorgeous are these lights in front of the Comcast Center in Philly??
Trinity is a good sport and will occasionally let me take a photo of her without making a silly face.
Never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you. Words to live by.
It’s dark, but he’s laying on my legs, cuddling my baby bump. It’s his favorite spot.
See what I mean about making silly faces in photos?
My lucky cat collection has grown by 3 this season 😉
I think I take a photo in this tunnel every other time we go through it.
Silly Small Fry, wrapping paper isn’t a blanket.
Kitten McNuggz is a fan of his new kitty tunnel.
We got snow while in Pa…. the day after Christmas. Also, this is the view out of my mom’s front window. I sometimes miss this.

This is Trinity’s favorite present this year. Thanks Uncle Rodney and Aunt Becca!
How cool is this mug? Thanks Daniel and Trinity!
How gorgeous is our new car??
Spike is ready for another day at the office.
Small Fry approves of my new glider. If only her fur matched the white cushions….
