I cannot believe it’s September already! Trinity starts 8th grade tomorrow. Stores are putting Halloween things out. The air smells fresher almost. Fall is definitely coming.
I’m usually uber excited for fall. It’s my favorite season…. but this summer has been so epic, that I’m a bit sad to see it end. This summer will be the summer that all future summers are compared against. I still have a ton of epic adventure posts backlogged because there was so much going on!
Here’s the past month recapped via phone photos.
I love when she’s cute and cuddly.
It didn’t come from the hand blown pumpkin patch, but Daniel bought me this awesome glass pumpkin to help grow my collection.
He lays in the weirdest positions.
Oh, Nuggz, you’re looking quite dapper this evening.
Welcome to my life…
That’s an unfortunate name..
Brace yourself, fall is coming!
….and this is the face she makes when I ask her to smile.
She may act like she’s afraid of him, but she really does adore her Uncle Dan.
Pyper is a diva. She kept asking me to take her picture. Silly girl.
This was Pyper’s first beach trip!
Wyatt was sleepy after a beach day.
They were fast friends, my nieces.
This was my favorite soda before I quit drinking all but coffee and water… I had to buy it in bulk in Pa, but now that I don’t drink it anymore, the gas station by my house carries it.
The funny thing about this photo is that she wasn’t smiling, just transitioning from one silly face to another.
Pyper took over my plush Appa while she was here.
I could watch the sea nettles float around for hours…. as long as they’re contained and cannot sting me.
Sunset is my favorite time of day.
I think I take a picture like this every time I drive through the tunnels.
Ok, maybe there is something I miss about Central Pa….
The weather was perfect for camping! This was straight up from our campfire.
My Hawaiian Lucky Cat is pretty sad.
This is a bridge. I wasn’t driving when I took this photo. Someone else was.
It was a beautiful beach day in Atlantic City. (no filter!)
I used no filter on this photo of the Cape May Light.
I mentioned this before, but the beach is my happy place.
This is where my feet should be all the time.
Sunflare! I liked the way the clouds were like lines.
….yup, another bridge!
I have a weird fascination with bridges.
My bologna has a first name….
She insisted that we should duckface.
I cannot believe I managed to cut that down to 32 photos. It started as 120. If you want to see the rest and see current photos, follow me on Instagram.
Now I’m off to finish laundry and get to bed. 6:30 comes really early, and we are not used to waking up.
